Royal Caribbean is a TERRIBLE company and I suggest no ane cruise with them, here'southward why: In brusque, I was: 1) thrown off the send 2) left stranded 300 miles from home, crying and alone as nightfall approached 3) offered absolutely no help from their staff 4) told I would receive NO REFUND All considering their staff cannot tell the difference between a valid and invalid Vaccine Carte. When I tried to lath a cruise from Tampa to United mexican states with 3 friends I was not allowed to lath. Why? The geniuses Royal hires decided, WRONGLY, that my vaccine card was not valid. I gave them every evidence I could that it was valid, merely information technology was a Saturday, so I could not attain the University Wellness Center where I received the vaccines or the CDC. Even though I provided them email evidence that I had appointments fabricated for both doses, they told me that is not proof that I actually got the doses, and threw me off. IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE. I AM FULLY VACCINATED. They accused me of fraudulently altering my card to show a 2d vaccine dose they said I never received, considering they couldn't sympathise the way the card was filled out past the wellness clinic. But I did receive information technology; so, they implied I am a liar and criminal. So, they forced me off the boat, left me LITERALLY STRANDED at the port with no assistance, crying and alone as nightfall approached. And so they had the nerve to give me a form letter stating they would not refund my money because it was MY mistake! That letter suggests they must throw a bunch of people off every cruise for whatsoever reason, and not offer a refund! After HOURS on the phone with their client service folks they FINALLY agreed to give me a refund, but information technology would have 2-three weeks to process! My vacation was RUINED, My dad had to drive 9 hours to pick me up at the port and bring me habitation at 2AM. My 3 friends were left crying on the boat as I was being removed. 4 vacations ruined. Why would anyone do business with people and so miserable?

This cruise (December 24, 2021) on The Brilliance out of Tampa was our 9th with Royal Caribbea. We will try to avoid this ship if possible in the hereafter, and if we canvass her again we hope things are better. The ship itself we loved. We love all the ships in the Radiance class, Freedom grade Vision course and Voyager class. But this trip was challenging. The food in the Windjammer was very disappointing. Aught seemed like it was at the correct temperature, textures and flavors were off, in that location was a astringent lack of diverseness and quality was almost non existent. Breakfast looked a day old every day. The coiffure did not enforce mask wearing or social distancing. I spoke with staff well-nigh why they were not enforcing mask wearing in the evening production shows and received the aforementioned reply over and over, there was nothing they could do. They would non even enquire them to put information technology on We felt unsafe! They also would not even attempt to enforce a clothes code policy in their dining room. Christmas night was Formal clothing. A very large number of guests were allowed to wearable shorts and tank tops and flip flops. Non a word was said to them. Over again, when staff was confronted they shrugged their shoulders and said in that location was goose egg they could dexcuses don't cut it. We should have stayed home rather than paying for this mess of a trip.

We had to make a concluding payment by Aug. 15....this is why this is being posted at present. We are NOT sailing on the Luminescence with RCI considering they really dropped the ball on this booking. Two couples booked a prowl out of Tampa for Nov xiii, 2021. We received notice on Aug three, that there were changes, 2 days later on receiving an electronic mail reminding united states of america of our last payment due date. The ship was changed from the Brilliance to the Serenade. Georgetown, Caymen Islands was dropped as a port, and Costa Maya Mexico was added instead. Our oceanview cabin was changed to a balustrade (non our pick) and the final price due went from about $700/cabin to about $1100/cabin. RCI did give an 800 number to call to cancel...which nosotros did. They actually should go agents that speak and understand English. We finally go through to Rita that we did not want to rebook...did non desire a FCC....we wanted a refund of our deposit. We have no trust left in RCI due to the way this was handled. They blamed everything on COVID, but they could have honored the price. Four of us now volition NOT apply RCI for our cruising. Information technology is a shame...the Serenade is a fine ship that we sailed on in 2018 on a Noway itinerary. Farewell Goodbye RCI.

12 days gave u a very practiced balance between days at sea and days on shore given that you lot go down at every stop. we sailed back in 2011. we booked some tours from the ship as it was our first fourth dimension and we were afraid to miss the send. just we did great on other days when nosotros roamed effectually on our ain or took a tour from shore. Just requite yourself more time for going dorsum ( 2 hours to be condom ) and if yous arrive near the ship early then hang around virtually it at a cafe until its fourth dimension to become dorsum.

Our cruise began with a warning to exist careful, ok the virus is everywhere. The staff smiled and showed not bad business concern for our well existence. I felt condom and knew the people around me felt the same. The ships crew cleaned constantly and used practiced safety practices. The coiffure spoke to us and engaged in friendly conversation information technology truly put the states at ease. Our room was handicap friendly and very large. My 84 twelvemonth old Mother was very comfortable, the staff took extra time and care with her needs. I enjoyed the entertainment most of all the alive shows were exceptional. The menu choice was well designed for all diets.
